Discord Server Rules & Moderation Guide


Rules All rules apply to both behavior in the server and in DM's. Please check out the LBP Union's Code of Conduct to learn more about our rules and guidelines on our Code of Conduct page.


  1. No NSFW or obscene content. This includes text, images, or links featuring nudity, sex, hard violence, or other graphically disturbing content. Please do not make suggestive comments toward other members. Do not share personally identifiable information. See rule 4.

  2. No spam is allowed. Please do not post too many messages at once or copy and paste messages over and over. This includes behavior that is disruptive to the flow of conversation.

  3. Self-promotion is allowed on our server. We encourage groups looking to promote themselves to sign-up for our #📣broadcast channel so that you can push announcements to the server. All promoted content must adhere to our Code of Conduct.

  4. Treat everyone with respect. Absolutely no harassment, witch hunting, sexism, racism, or hate speech will be tolerated.

  5. It is encouraged (but not required) that your nickname contain your PSN name to make it easier for others to identify you Try putting it in parentheses at the end of your nickname. (Ex. @Sacknana (Username123))

  6. Mature language is okay, but please limit it to help maintain a positive server atmosphere. Do not use language in any way that is offensive, meant to insult, harass, or instigate others. Do not attempt to circumvent our bot’s word filter.

  7. Please try to stay on topic as best you can. If you catch yourself falling off topic, link to a relevant channel so that the people involved can continue the conversation there.

  8. See something that's against the rules or makes you uncomfortable? Please DM us! Please be polite to staff if you have moderation concerns. We are here to help and provide a safe and fair experience for all so that this can be one of the best LittleBigPlanet Discord servers out there!

Moderation Guide

We understand that Discord can be a bit of a chaotic place and everyone makes mistakes. Our Pathfinder team is here to help remind you and direct you to the appropriate channels. We want you to have the best experience possible, so let's work together to make our server the most engaging, safe, and respectful server we can make it!


This is the general process of our moderation,

  1. First moderation action: warning.

  2. Second moderation action: temporary mute.

  3. Third moderation action: temporary removal from the server.

  4. Fourth offense: indefinite ban from the server.

Moderation points are final and may not be negotiated. Please do not share screenshots of messages from staff. Our server team can be identified as follows,

  1. Protectors: administrators of the server, shown with a dark blue role.

  2. Peacekeepers: moderators of the server, shown with a lighter blue.

  3. Pathfinders: our server engagement team, shown in orange.

Pathfinders do not have moderator powers, but they are big part of our team! They help remind members of the server's rules, recommend that topics be moved to more appropriate channels, and help us keep the server nice and vibrant. We're here to help you succeed!
