my first small story on the topic of dystopia.

there was once a world that wasn't as it was today, a world with proper governments, peace and conventional war. however in 2060 it all changed, corporations such as google went on the rise and started investing money in the pmc market, this happened until more and more corpos did the same. at points countries were just hiring corpos to fight proxy wars and to do the governments dirty work no one else wanted to do. however when economies collapsed, the corpos expanded to the point where they bought land. first libya, then somalia and then all of the former eastern bloc. corporations aren't what they used to be as now they are mega corporations with tons of money while the rest of the downtrodden citizens that they call denizens scrape by trying to get a decent meal for families, oppressing just gets you killed by corpo rats and not joining Microsoft's secret police makes life for the everyday working man difficult. the financially unstable live in shantytowns where homes are made by scrap metal and have there own militias to fend off the degenerates known as corpo police.
