Overview
To celebrate the return of the LittleBigPlanet servers (which will be coming back very soon), the LBP Union is hosting a creative contest! LBP Reconnected recognizes participating creators in three categories:
Level: a playable level or game.
Music: create something fancy with the music sequencer!
Creation: make anything! An object, an outfit, a vehicle, some fancy logic, or a combination of things!
The deadline to publish your level and enter the contest has been postponed! We plan to announce a new deadline once the servers are officially declared to be back online by the LBP team. We'd like to allow two weeks of time for creators to finalize and publish their works, and then a week of judging after this to determine the winners.
How to Enter
To enter the LBP Reconnected contest, follow these directions,
Publish your entry in a new level.
In the level title, include the phrase "#LBPReconnected"
Make a post in this thread if you are interested in participating! When your entry is finished, you can edit your entry post accordingly!
To enter the contest or let us know that you're interested, copy and paste the template below into your reply and edit the values:

Name of Entry: [Type the title of your entry, do not include #LBPReconnected here, but remember to add it in game to make your submission count!]

Here's a couple rules and guidelines for LBP Reconnected:
This contest is currently for LBP1, LBP2, and LBP3 only since not many of the people judging will have access to LBP Vita. If you can provide a video or some other accessible medium to view your creation, we might be able to make an exception!
Please make sure that your entry does not violate the LittleBigPlanet EULA or the LBP Union Code of Conduct.
If you are working as a team, the person that publishes the level is the one that will get the prize if that entry wins. We'd love to do group contests in the future, so stay tuned!
After the due date, please do not republish your level.
Winners
We will announce one winner for each category. All winners will receive a trophy: the Reconnected Crown, in-game! You'll also receive a Reconnected badge on our forum that's displayed next to your username and a special role on our Discord server! You'll also get a shoutout and spotlight on our website and on social media.
If you don't have LBP3, we can get you the Crown on LBP1 or LBP2 via the photo import glitch!

Description: I've recreated the alpha pod theme on a music sequencer. I plan to use it for any future levels I create. But I might as well submit it for the contest, since there isn't anything like it. I will publish it when the servers come back.
Hey everyone, we are getting closer to setting a new deadline for LBP Reconnected. It's clear that, even without word from the official LBP team about the server status, the servers have been relatively stable and we need to move forward with the contest.
We will announce a new deadline as soon as I can sort out some things about the Reconnected Crown, a limited edition decal that we are developing. Some technical limitations are making it a bit finnicky to work with using the LBP1 image import tool that I foresaw but hoped that we could overcome. We are making progress with the design and we are hoping to have a version of the crown decal in the game with an acceptable level of quality.
If all else fails, we may have to import the photo using the LBP3 screenshot method, but it will lose its transparency in this case and also backwards compatibility with LBP1 and LBP2. We want to make sure that it is as accessible as possible to the winners of LBP Reconnected.

I'm confused. Last I looked the servers were still down. How are people publishing levels? And is there any plan to extend the deadline for this? Also, not to be overly pessimistic, but do we really still believe that the servers WILL be coming back online? My fear is LBP may be truly dead at this point. Someone please talk me out of it!
