Guide to Posting in Union Hall

    in Union Hall

Union Hall is a great place to talk about the LBP Union as well as to gauge interest for a potential group or project. Here are some ideas about how you can post in this category to gain some traction for your group and engage with the community

The Union Hall category is mainly for discussion of groups, collaborative projects, and the LBP Union itself. It's not the best place for you to advertise your group. The best place for you to share links to your group is by creating your own group and sharing a link to that.

Share creations in the Showcase Category

Union Hall is primarily for talking about your group and what your group has been up to. If you are sharing in-game projects that your group has been working on in-game without much other information about the group, I strongly recommend you use the Showcase category instead.

Link to Your Group's Page & Social Media

It's important to link to your group's LBP Union page and your social media. Discord invite links are also encouraged to help your server gain more traction. Try to keep the links together to make them easier to find. Keep these links within your group's thread and do not post them in other threads.

    Post About Group News

Sometimes there's stuff going on the community, like collaborations between groups or current events. You can make new threads for these types of topics, but please do not advertise your group in these threads.

    Be Constructive

It's important to network and help one another out. Please do not beg for members or engagement. If you aren't seeing the level of engagement that you'd like, try asking other groups questions. How do they get the members that they recruit, and what could you be doing better? There's always room for improvement!

In the same vein, please be respectful of other groups. Refer to the LBP Union's Code of Conduct for more information.
