About the Role
The Pathfinder Captain is the liaison between the Pathfinder team and the Security Office, the Ministry of Security leadership team. The Captain has a number of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Recruiting and promoting new Pathfinders
Overseeing the setup of Discord server events
Delegating tasks to Pathfinder team to achieve community advocacy goals.
Representing Discord server members in their defense during case review and encouraging good case review practices with the rest of the team.
Practicing excellent information security.
Creating and executing strategies to accomplish goals related to community advocacy, engagement, and wellbeing.
Requirements
Been an active member of our Discord server for at least six months.
Be at least 15 years old.
A strong desire to advocate for members of our community to simultaneously keep our community safe without moderation.
An inclusive attitude, respecting the identities of all community members.
Experience running virtual events is preferred.
Voice chat availability is preferred.
Previous leadership experience is required.
Comfortable with delegating to others
