Q&A: Public Security Advisory on Online Play

On December 7th, LBP Union will publish a Public Security Advisory about recent findings on the safety and security of LittleBigPlanet multiplayer. These findings apply to all online multiplayer and not to any specific LittleBigPlanet server. This event is an opportunity for you to ask us questions in our Stage Channel about the advisory. Our findings will answer questions about the Beacon Dive In matchmaking service outage as well. Time and date subject to change.

Attending

Please follow these steps to attend:

1. Join our Discord server.
2. Read all the server rules in the Welcome channel.
3. On the day of the event, click the Union Hall Stage Channel to join the event and wait for it to start at the designated time.
4. If you intend to ask a question, please follow the rules below.

Please follow these rules when asking questions:

1. If you want to ask a question over voice, use the ‘raise hand’ button to enter the queue. You may also ask questions via the text chat.
2. We will only answer one question at a time. If you ask more than one question over voice, you will be moved back to the audience.
3. All our Discord server rules apply with increased penalties. Failure to follow the rules, such as being disruptive, rude or malicious will result in greater punishments than usual, up to and including a ban.
4. Please keep all questions on topic. The topic of this event is posted at the start of this page. We appreciate all your questions, but we may move you back to the audience if there is high demand for on topic questions.
