Halloween is fast approaching, a holiday to remember the dead and the faithful departed. For LittleBigPlanet, October 31st also marks another macabre deadline — the final day to purchase LittleBigPlanet digital games and DLC. After this month, it will be impossible to purchase LittleBigPlanet DLC and digital copies of the games, even the free DLC. There’s a lot of great, free content that’s up for grabs that will be lost forever. Let’s take a closer look at the free DLC you should pick up before it’s too late.
Why is Free LBP DLC Important?
LittleBigPlanet has a lot of DLC. In fact, one Redditor calculated all the DLC for LBP to be worth $673! However, aside from the paid DLC, there’s a lot of free content. After October 31st, all that free content will be unavailable to download from the PlayStation Store. That means it’s more important than ever to download it before it slips away!
Let’s Dive In!
What follows is a list of free LittleBigPlanet DLC that you should download from the PlayStation Store before October 31st. After this month, all the following content won’t be available anymore!
A Warning About Region-Specific PSN Stores

There may also be other free DLCs that we missed or are in different regions that are not listed here.
DLC Available for Every Game
These DLCs are available to be used in all LittleBigPlanet titles.
Kabuki Actor Costume

This piece of free DLC is a costume based on Japanese Kabuki Actors. It comes with skin for your sackthing, some hair, and clothing. This costume was created as part of a competition; in LittleBigChallenge 003, people from Europe, the USA, Japan, and China were invited to submit their Sackperson costume designs. One winner from each region would see their creation become a real, wearable costume in LittleBigPlanet. The Kabuki Actor costume was one of those costumes alongside the Monkey King, Sack-Eating Plant, and Sack in the Box.
Monkey King Costume

You can finally become a Monkey King!
This costume is pretty unique, it’s one of the free DLCs that was made through a contest. This costume comes with a skin, a crown accessory with monkey ears. It also comes with a tail, clothes and a staff that you can hold.
Sack-Eating Plant Costume

Another of the contest winners. This costume engulfs your sackthing in a plant.

Sackboy’s Prehistoric Asset Pack

Embark on a prehistoric adventure with this DLC! Create dino-themed levels and dress your sackperson in epic costumes like Cave Boy and Dinosaur Skeleton, inspired by Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves. The pack also includes some materials and stickers.
